We have provided professional language services - interpretation and translation - since 1996. We do this because you asked us to.
In 1996, we asked you what was most needed to improve access to health and human services in our community. Your response: language services. You already knew that there were increasing numbers of residents who weren't fully fluent in English and who couldn't communicate effectively in a crucial time of need: medical and human services appointments.
NV AHEC is proud to be a private, not-for-profit organization directly serving the Northern Virginia community and organizations throughout the US, while leading the charge for higher professional standards for medical interpretation nationwide.
